The 6th edition of INGENIO PhD Days, taking place on March 5th, 6th & 7th at the INGENIO (CSIC-UPV) facilities in València, is a call for a critical reappraisal of innovation, in particular: the social understanding of its nature; the new challenges it poses, including environmental and socio-economic effects; and the policy responses that emerge or can be proposed to deal with them. This event will encourage debates in two parallel broad domains: ‘Pushing the boundaries: Redefining the limits of innovation’ and ‘New forms of generating innovation’, as detailed below.

We strive for detailed debates on the role of public administration as a facilitator of  sustainable innovation, alongside case studies that provide key insights into both success  and failure in innovation. Additionally, we invite transdisciplinary methodologies that  advance new understanding of innovation while promoting equity and knowledge co-creation.
